Did you know that San Salvador, the capital of country is just 40 minutes away from the International Airport of El Salvador as well as from the beach area?

Thanks to the renovated area of downtown San Salvador, we are able to go the the historical plazas and buildings, experience local dishes and culture.

During this tour, we visit San Salvador Cathedral, Monsignor Romero tomb (who became the first saint of El Salvador) National Palace, National Theater, Currency Museum and much more. A nice Sightseeing tour experience.

After a visit of the historical downtown San Salvador city, we head to San Salvador Volcano, which is 25 minutes away. We go straight to the top of the volcano, we enter to the national park and enjoy a nice 10 minutes hike in order to get to the crater, a 1,893 meter above the sea level view.

Next spot is the famous rainbow slide, quick stop to enjoy the view of San Salvador city and experience sliding in a nice and colorful slide!

For lunch, we visit a local restaurant with a nice view of the city where you can take a perfect photo of San Salvador City.

Then, we head to the Salvadoran Artisan Market, where you are going to find the best and most funny souvenirs in town.
